First issue Wehrpass to Jäger Otto Winter. He was born on the 21st of August 1924 at Teisendorf.
On the 30th of August 1941 he was medically examined as volunteer in the Fliegeruntersuchungsstelle Neubiberg and was found fit for the Fallschirmjäger troops.
Winter served in the RAD as Arbeitsmann from 8.11.1941 till 21.1.1942.
He started his active military career in March 1942 with the 8. Kompanie of Flieger-Ausbildungs-Regiment 52 stationed at Soissons, France.
He was trained with the K98, Maschinengewehr 15 and Pistole 08.+ entry for Gasmaske 30.
After his training with Flieger-Regiment 52 he served in the 3./ Fallschirmjäger-Panzerjäger Abteilung. He followed an additional training for Flieger-Waffenwart für Fallschirmjäger from 1.2.1943 till 30.4.1943 in the Flieger-Waffentechnische Schule in Dresden.
After this training he returned to his old unit and served in the Stab of Fallschirm-Panzerjäger-Abteilung 1 from 2.5.1943 till 2.6.1943
From 3.6.1943 till 30.6.1943 he served in the 5./ Fallschirm-Panzerjäger-Abteilung 1.
Otto Winter died on the 30th of June 1943 in Arles, France
