Wehrpass to Unteroffizier Emil Paul Müller. He was born on the fourteenth of February 1914 in Roßbach/ Weissenfels.

 

Müller started his active military career in October 1936 with the 1./ Panzer Abwehr Abteilung 24  at Borna. (15.10.1936-26.9.1938)

 

He was trained with the K98, PAK36 (3.7cm), PAK38 (5 cm), SMG 13, and Pistole 08. He received the Schützenabzeichen für Karabiner 1936/1937.

 

1.10.1937 he was promoted to Gefreiter and on the first of November 1938 to Unteroffizier.

 

From 27.9.1938 till his death in 14.7.1941 he saw action with 2./Panzerjäger Abteilung 49 (4.Panzer-Division).

 

He participated in the invasion of Sudetenland and Tschechoslowakei. 

 

He came in real action during the Poland campaign (Warsaw), then Holland (Maastricht) and  Belgium ( Panzer battle at Hannut-Gembloux); where he was wounded on the 15th of May 1940. Campaign in France and its occupation. In april 1941 his unit was moved to the Eastern Front where he was KIA on the 14th of July 1941 by a head shot at Butramejewka

 

He was awarded the Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1.Oktober 1938 mit Spange, the EK2 (already on 9.11.1939 most probably for the battles of Warsaw) , 15.9.1940 Sturmabzeichen and Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz.
