Wehrpass to Gefreiter Jakob Kirschbaum who was born on the 30th of July 1899 in Neuß.
 
He served briefly with the Sanitätskompanie 227 from 29.8.1939 till 20.7.1940
 
He was trained with the K98  and  followed an additional training as Krankenträger.
 
He was called up up again in June  1941 and served in several reserve units.  With the Landesschützenkompanie 4/460 he secured the German-Dutch border for example from 8.4.1943 till 20.10.1943
 
From 4.11.1943 till 2.3.1944 he served with Heeres-Küsten-Artillerie-Regiment 180 in Dänemark. From 4.3.1944 till 8.7.1944 he served in Schw. Art. Ers. Abteilung . before he was discharged
