Death card to Artur Netter , Maschinen- Maat on the U-847.  He was decorated with the  EK1, EK2 and U-Boat War Badge.
 
He died on the 16th of March 1943 after 15 patrols during an accident on the U-847.
 
The U-847 was  later sunk by air-launched FIDO torpedoes dropped from US Avenger and Wildcat aircrafts operating from the escort carrier USS Card on 27 August 1943 in the Sargasso Sea.
