Oskar Maurer: Feldwebel and Truppführer in a Fallschirmjäger Regiment. He was decorated with several awards and saw action in Kreta, Greece, Eastern Front and Italy. He was kia on the 6th of July 1944 in Normandy
 
Rudolf Maurer : Soldier in a Gebirgsjäger Regiment.  He died after being severily wounded on the 14th of July 1944 in a field hospital at the Eastern Front.
