Award document for the Iron Cross First Class to Obergefreiter Georg Minter of Fallschirmjäger Regiment 24. The document was issued on the 20th of April 1945. Very nice example of a late war paratrooper document in a good, slightly used condition (folded).
FJR 24 was grounded January 1945 out of the “Fallschirmjäger-Ausbildungs- Regiment Hübner. The regiment defended the Rhine bridgeheads e.g. at the area around Borth and Wallach were FJR 22 and 24 saw action as part of the 8th Fallschirmjäger-Division.
